100 g of the ointment contains active substances: nonivamide (Nonivamidum) - 0.05 g, camphor (Camphora) - 5.3 g, turpentine oil from the maritime pine (Terebinthinae aetheroleum a Pino pinastro) - 9.7 g, eucalyptus oil (Eucalypti aetheroleum) - 2.5 g. The remaining ingredients (excipients) are: lanolin, solid paraffin, liquid paraffin, white petrolatum.
The medicinal product Neo-Capsiderm is traditionally used as a warming product for muscle pains (strains, painful muscle contractions), and auxiliary for pain related to joint inflammations and neuralgias (radiculitis, lumbar sciatica). When rubbed into the skin, the product is irritating to the skin, causing congestion and redness,/the product is stimulating for the skin and has a warming effect. Blood vessel dilation results in an improved blood supply to the painful spot and faster resolving of swelling and inflammation. When the inflammation is resolved, the pain is gradually alleviated.
Dosage and administration
Apply a thin layer of ointment on clean skin, massage gently into the skin.
The medicinal product Neo-Capsiderm should not be used by people hypersensitive to its active substances, nonivamide, capsicum products, eucalyptus oil or 1,8-cineol, or to any of the excipients. Do not use on damaged skin. Do not use in the case of children and youths.
